Emma in Haiti

Are we proud of Emma Batchelder!! Soon after the Haitian earthquake, she and a surgical team from Dartmouth Medical Center were on a Partners In Health jet loaded with supplies. After arriving in the Dominican Republic, they and their gear went overland to Port-au- Prince, where they spent nearly two weeks serving the disaster victims. Emma is a post-op and critical care nurse. She and her fellow nurses had to improvise due to lack of the equipment they are used to, as well as making decisions and performing procedures that they might not do in a stateside setting. She will remain forever touched by the faith, resilience and gratitude of the Haitian people in the face of such excruciating horror. Thank you Emma for representing us and thank you for those who kept watch on the New Hampshire farm, allowing Emma to go: Lisa, Teresa and Jason.

He showed training and first level in Florida and was shown in the USEF 4 y.o. tests in New England. He won every USEF 4 y.o. qualifier he entered – with scores to 78% and very positive feedback about his rideability and gaits. ******* Congratulations Lisa from North Carolina!!! *******

Born in 2009, Baaron Miller RH is by Bretone (Brentano II) out of SPS Weltfee II (Weltmeyer). Baaron is gorgeous- with a handsome head and great dressage conformation. Baaron has the movement and strength to be an FEI horse. He was tied for first place colt at his Hanoverian inspection and named best mover! Currently 16.3+, Baaron should finish about 17 hands. Baaron’s full brother, Barcelona RH, qualified in the top 15 four year olds in the country for the Markel National Young Horse Championships in 2011 and we are loving riding his other older brother, Banderas. So, Baaron should be similarly excellent in the dressage arena. He is currently going well under saddle and is a good candidate for the FEI 5 year old classes – he is working on leg-yielding, shoulder-in, counter-canter, simple changes, rein back, & walk pirouettes. He is very comfortable and has a willing, nicely sensitive temperament. SOLD
