Bette is a young addition to our band. She is the result of one of our proven crosses, ES Bretone and SPS Weltfee II, a overall “8″ States Premium daughter of Weltmeyer. Bette is absolutely beautiful, with great conformation and movement. She has had two gorgeous Maronjo foals – Moshiata RH and Moriarty RH. These foals represent an exciting pairing of the bloodlines of our two Class One stallions, Bretone and Maronjo. Bette is in foal to Maronjo again for 2013.

EM Gleucksfee
River House Mare – Foals Available

EM Gleucksfee, or “FiFi”,  is a very versatile girl. Nora evented her through preliminary, she qualified for the area 1 Training Championships and was AHS Training Event Horse of the year. A lovely mover, she frequently won the dressage phase and could also perform all of the third level dressage work. A 16.2 dark bay beauty by Glorieux, FiFi is an Elite Mare and a member of the AHS Jumper Breeding Program. She has had several foals for the University of Massachusetts, including some great foals by Werbellin. We were excited to welcome FiFi back to River House in 2010, where she has had a tall, leggy Werbellin colt (Will Scarlet) and a gorgeous, bay Bretone colt (Bramble RH). In 2012, she had a lovely Bretone filly named Burberry RH.

Name: Rue Facile
River House Mare
Sadly, Nora lost her beloved Rue in the spring of 2012, but we have her gorgeous Bretone filly, Bedelia (AKA Rue Baby), to cherish. Rest in peace Rue – you were amazing. Rue was by Rubinstein out of a mare by the famous Hessen stallion Rescator. She was a 16.2, dark bay and a fabulous show horse. She was Nora’s mount for the 2003 North American Young Riders Championships, where they qualified for and performed the freestyle. With numerous high score and year end awards at I1, they went on to Grand Prix and completed Nora’s USDF Gold Medal. Rue was sold to and ridden very successfully by an adult amateur to her bronze medal and good fourth level scores, Rue retired to our brood mare band.

Name: SPS WELTFEE II
River House Mare – Foals Available
Weltfee has proven to be the ideal cross to Bretone. We are so excited about the foals from this pairing. Weltfee has been such a stellar producer for us! With the current state of the world market, we are pleased and proud to be producing quality young horses for the U.S, and SPS Weltfee II is a producer of quality. She is a 16.1 hand chestnut mare by WELTMEYER (arguably the most influential Hanoverian of all time) out of a very proven Lord Udo XX mare. This mare has tremendous quality. She herself was selected for the Verden Elite Auction. She is an overall “8” on her studbook inspection and received 7.7 for gaits and an 8 on rideability from the test rider in her under saddle test. Her full sister is also States Premium and has been bred to De Niro (black Donnerhall Grand Prix winner) 5 times! Her oldest filly is black and is States Premium and earned huge scores in her under saddle test. Weltfee II has also had two foals by De Niro – one chestnut, one black. She had two stunning Maronjo foals for us, one colt and one filly, before being bred to Bretone numerous times. Her first Bretone filly, Bette Davis, has been a super broodmare for us and her colts are turning into tremendous riding horses. They are very handsome, wonderful movers and have Tony’s super friendly disposition. The best in FEI dressage prospects. Her first Bretone colt, Barcelona, qualified in the top 15 four year olds in the country for the Markel National Young Horse Championships in 2011. Her second Bretone colt, Banderas, is a little dressage dynamo under saddle. So, we expect great things from her many other Bretone foals (Baaron Miller, Bogart, Bacardi and Bellatrix).
