It is an exciting time for River House. We have just imported a sensational new stallion by Brentano II v. Salut. Please stay tuned as we get his new information online in the next few days and welcome Bretone to the US!.
River House Hanoverian is a 300 acre farm located along a breathtaking valley in New Hampshire. Our full service dressage training and breeding facility is maintained by 3 generations of the Batchelder family who personally handle, train, and manage each of the horses that resides here.
Importation of German Hanoverian dressage horses, FEI prospect and State premium broodmares. Our clients include top international dressage competitors, Olympic medal winners and Hanoverian breeders throughout the US. As active FEI dressage competitors ourselves, we understand the importance of premium care and services for the development of exceptional international equine athletes.

- 2 Resident FEI dressage riders and trainers.

- Training and conditioning for dressage and eventing of all levels.
Over and above dressage training, clinician services, importation, and the CEM Quarantine station, we have the privilege to stand 2 very talented stallions;
Maronjo 16.3 Hanoverian stallion, winner of his 100 day test; currently competing in FEI Dressage and producing an exceptional group of young performance horses.

At River House we are very experienced in the handling of breeding and FEI performance sporthorses, states premium mares, and the nutritional management of broodmares and growing prospects. All forage products used in our performance breeding and quarantine operation are produced on our farm to insure quality and supply control. Forages are analyzed and balanced with appropriate supplements to insure optimum growth and proper development in growing foals.
