Maronjo is an extremely handsome gray Elite Hanoverian stallion by the sire Mahon. Licensed at the Hengstkorung in Germany, he then went on to win his 100-day test with an impressive overall score of 138.06!! His rideability and jumping scores were both over 130 and he received 9s for character, temperament, and willingness to work.

Maronjo has been a rising star for many seasons. Showing in dressage and attaining winnings in Prix St. George and Intermediare I and II. He is now trained to Grand Prix. His workable disposition always shines. Our daughter Emma, age 16, showed him fourth-level in the CVDA Fall show, placing 2nd in an open competition. This was her first attempt to show above first level. Maronjo also has champions in hand at breed shows, and his jumping technique would not have prevented a different career path. We have just received word that Maronjo has attained a ranking of 7th on the USEF sire list!! Thanks to his offspring in sport.

On the international scene Maronjo’s pedigree continues to prosper. His sire Mahon now has a dressage index of 140 in Germany, and is regarded as a high producer of dressage horses. His Grand sire, Mahagoni, is the sire of Peron, the highest placed American dressage horse at the 1996 Olympics.

In his mother’s line there is First Gotthard who is out of the full sister to Maronjo’s grandmother. First Gotthard has a jumping index of 140 points in Germany and another full brother is winning at FEI level dressage there.

Maronjo is producing many wonderful competition horses that are now making their own marks. Offspring are winners or champions in dressage, eventing and show jumping as well. We are very aware that breeding is an expensive business. Hence, we have come up with the following program to make our stallions available to breeders at the least possible cost.

Fresh semen: 
$250 booking .
$1,000 fee due when mare is 60 days pregnant. If your mare is not pregnant then the fee is not due. You can start again the following season. Once your mare is pregnant we offer "live foal guarantee" insurance for another $250.
On farm breeding or come and pick up the semen. 
Transported semen by individual arrangement. 

Frozen semen: 
4 doses (inseminations) $1500. One breeding certificate issued. $250 for each additional certificate. Very positive results with frozen.

100 % conception in 2002, 2003, 2004 (except for one 18 year old mare in 2003!!).
