All three horses put in great performances at White Fences, March 22-24, to bring Nora’s Wellington season to a satisfying conclusion.

Nora’s own Bahai (a nine year old mare by Harmony’s Baroncelli out of SPS Rose by Rotspon) put in a smooth, energetic test to win the Developing Horse Prix St Georges with almost a 68%. The next day, Bahai did her second Intermediare I ever with great results – earning over 69%! Nora is very excited about Bahai’s progress toward the Grand Prix in her training at home and thrilled that she seems to be getting the hang of doing her thing in the show ring!

Nora’s Farleight (an eleven year old gelding from the popular Florestan line) made his Intermediare II debut – his first time ever piaffing, passaging, and one tempiing in the ring – very exciting! He came out with a bang – winning his test with well over 67%! Very exciting indeed!

Nora also rode Anne Clement’s Bandito RH (one of many fabulous Bretone babies) to three blue ribbons in his recognized show debut. Bandito RH may not turn five years old until July, but he’s already bringing home the blues at both first and second level. He won both his second level three classes with scores to almost 68% and he won his first level three class with almost 71%. This week he is back at River House, with Anne in the tack, showing her how to ride trot and canter half-passes and walk pirouettes. He’s a star!

Overall, a great way to wrap up the Wellington season before hitting the ground running at River House in Williston!
