The River House crew had a very successful show at the Heidelberg Cup at the end of March. Despite the fact that Sunday afternoon was completely rained out, resulting in many canceled classes, a great time was had by all! Moleibi, Jeanie’s 7 year old Maronjo gelding, was a star – winning both his third level classes. His achievements at both second and third level earned him the Klaus Fraessdorf Continuing Potential Award. The unfortunate deluge on Sunday meant that Nora and Amanta were only able to compete in one class, but they made the most of it by winning the Intermediare I with a 67.895%. Nora and Bretone added to River House’s accomplishments with wins in both the FEI Freestyle (with a 70.5% on their Grand Prix freestyle) and the National Brentina Cup qualifier. Nora also rode Amy Bresky’s rising talent, Farleight, to a 67.714% and a win in the National Developing Horse test.¬†Cecilia Shields-Auble and River House’s Grand Prix schoolmaster, Weide, continued the great success they enjoyed all winter in Florida with two third level wins, and scoring over 70%. To top it off, Amanta was High Point Oldenburg, Bretone was High Point Hanoverian, and Weide took home High Point Third Level honors. Way to go River House horses and riders!
